What lights up your world?

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Light of the World, not just for some people but for everybody!

As part of this world that is fragile we have come to find hope in Jesus Christ as the Saviour. We believe that not only did God make this world, but He’s also now in full control. He’s given us life the resources of earth as a gift. But sadly, as humans, we tend to reject His wise rules and this leads to inhumanity, hurt and broken relationships. We’d like to blame others but none of us are perfect.

However because He loves the world, God the Son, Jesus Christ, came to the world to restore a broken relationship – the relationship we broke with God by turning from Him. He made this possible by dying on the cross, paying a debt for us and our sin (the bad things we do). Through His death and resurrection He shows that He is still in control and offers to us a new beginning with our maker – a fresh start! What was darkness can become light!
